Our Services, rental terms and conditions

The rates include:
  - Illimited mileage
  - Insurance
  - Current value added tax
  - Car assistance day and night
Free Services:
  - Extra driver
  - Baby or child seat according to availability
  - Free delivery for rentals from 7 days,
   (extra charge 20€ for shorter rentals)

Rental period

Minimum 24 hours

Age & Payment

Age
21 years, 25 years for category D.
Driving license
Since two years, the license has to be shown for any rental.
Loss or theft certificates cannot be accepted.
Security deposit
by credit card, mandatory
Fuel
At return, the cars must show the same fuel level as at pick up.
Otherwise, the fuelling up will be invoiced to the client.
Rates / Payment
The rental fees as well as the security deposit are to be paid in advance (credit card, cheque).
Our rates and terms and conditions may change without prior notice.
Payment
For pre-payments of the total amount of any rental, the bearer of the credit card or cheque must be the person signing for the rental contract.
If the client does not own a credit card accepted by Star Car (Carte Bleue, Mastercard, Eurocard, Visa, American Express), a certificate of solvency and a certificate of residence are required.

Third party insurances / Damage excess buyback possible
CDW : Limitation of damage excess in case of accident
to 305 € instead of 1525.- € (categories A-C); 6.-€ by day
to 381 € instead of 1831.- € (categories D and E); 6.50 € by day
to 457 € instead of 2745;- € (categories F and G); 8.50 € by day
TP : Limitation of damage excess in case of theft
to 305 € instead of 1525.- € (category A) ; 2.-€ by day
to 381 € instead of 1831.- € (categories B and C) ; 3.- € by day
to 457 € instead of 2745.- € (category D). 3.- € by day

Damages to the vehicle can only be covered upon a filled-in accident report within 24 hours. n case of theft or damage to the vehicle, you must file a claim at the next police station and return the keys.
In case of lack of this claim, the payment of the total amount of the damage has to be made by the renter. Personal belongings are not covered. In case of damage with responsability, a residual damage excess is due, according to the rate.
Exclusions
     - Tickets, fuel, looting or theft of vehicle parts, theft of personal belongings ;
     - Damage to rims and tyres ;
     - Towing costs (except for breakdowns during normal use) ;
     - Mechanical damages resulting of bad use of the vehicle ;
     - Damages resulting of use in non-conformity with the constructor's standards ;
     - Any damages to the superstructure resulting of a bump, fixed or mobile ;
     - Any damages to the substructure and mechanical items under the vehicle
       are at the renters charge.
